Obituary

Alois Bilski, 88, of Brenham, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015.

Visitation will be from 6-8pm with Rosary at 7:00pm, Friday, December 4, 2015 at Brenham Memorial Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Saturday, December 5 at 2:00pm with Msgr. Benedict Zientek as celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery

Alois was born February 14, 1927 in Brenham to Wallace and Veronica (Murski) Bilski. He was baptized February 16, 1927 and confirmed at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Alois served our country in the U.S. Army and discharged in 1945. He was a rancher, a lifetime member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Brenham, member of the Knights of Columbus. Alois was an avid hunter and had an interest in politics. He was a former Washington County Commissioner.

Survivors are his son and daughter-in-law Daniel and Nickie Bilski; grandchildren Kirk Bilski and Dusty Bilski; great grandchildren Morgan and Absidy Bilski; sister-in-law Regina Bilski along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by both parents, three brothers and one sister.

Pallbearers are David Majewski, Wade Bage, Brian Marshall, Wilson Monroe, Willie Brown and Scott Archibald. Honorary pallbearer will be Gus Mutscher.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
