Ambrosio Ligues

Ambrosio Ligues, 79, of Brenham and the husband of Josephine Ligues, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017 in Bryan, Texas.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 5 from 5-7 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in Brenham Memorial Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 6 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church with burial following in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Mr. Ligues was born in Burton, Texas on December 7, 1937 to Tito and Chona Ligues. He was married to Josephine (Meschwitz) Ligues and employed at Brenham Broom & Mop. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Survivors include: wife Josephine Ligues; sons Bobby Ligues and Anthony Ligues; three grandsons; three granddaughters; one great-grandson; two great-granddaughters; brother Johnny Ligues and wife Darlene; sisters Frances Ligues, Vicky Meschwitz and Pas Kellogg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sons Jeffrey, Richard and Larry.
