I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Mr. Taber's passing. I had recently gotten to know him at church because he sat behind my mom and I each Sunday. He had a profound effect on both of us with his sweet spirit and smile! I am notorious for being late, but found myself making sure that we would get to church early enough to be able to talk to Bill for a while before church started. He spoke about his doctor appointments on the Tuesday before be passed away, and I told him we would all be praying for him for answers and a plan to help him get better soon. I know God is in control, but I certainly didn't expect Him to just take Bill home to be with him! We will miss him tremendously. I just don't know how to tell you what a profound impact he had on my life in such a short time. God bless you all - he will not be forgotten soon.
