Carl H. Linden

Carl H. Linden, 82 of Brenham, passed away Friday, January 23, 2015 at Kruse Memorial Lutheran Village. Visitation will be Saturday, January 31 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. with a memorial service beginning at 3:00 p.m. in Brenham Memorial Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Linden officiating. Private family interment will follow.

Carl H. Linden was born September 9, 1932 to Carl and Lois (Kennedy) Linden in Austin, Texas. He was a graduate from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in engineering. His engineering career took him worldwide. He served in the Naval Reserves and was a member of the American College of Engineering.

In retirement, he enjoyed meeting people whether at garage sales or by creating and sharing DVD productions.

He was preceded in death by parents, wife Jean Linden, son Mark Linden and daughter Karen Barton.

Surviving family includes: son, Dr. Barry Linden and wife Lisa (Brenham); son-in-law, Paul Barton (Round Rock); brother, Kenneth N. Linden and wife Norma (Greenville); grandchildren, Barry Jr. and Leigh Linden (Brenham), Sarah E. Linden (Brenham), Matthew A. Linden (South Lake), Michael T. Linden (Ft. Worth), Holly Barton (Austin), Lindsay and Ryan Robertson (Austin); great-grandchildren, Brinley and Braydon Linden and Harlow Robertson.
