Charles Fougeron

Charles Allen Fougeron, 79, of Bellville, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016.

Visitation with the family present will be from 1:00-4:00 p.m., Saturday, April 30 in Brenham Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 1 in Salem Lutheran Church with Pastor Charles Parnell officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Church Cemetery.

Charles was born May 14, 1936 in Morris, Minnesota to Floyd and Ethel (Jacobson) Fougeron. He was married to Margie Cunningham. He served our country in the U.S. Navy. Charles was employed as a petrochemical engineer. He’s been a longstanding member of Salem Lutheran Church. Coaching, bowling and fishing were his hobbies.

His loving family includes: wife of 61 years, Margie Fougeron, children Rhonda Fougeron Wells, Ritchie (Malloy) French, Paula (Chuck) Sluder, Pamela Fougeron, David (Diedra) Fougeron; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers Leeland Fougeron, Myron Fougeron, Glen Fougeron and sister Evelyn Collins.
