Obituary

Edna (Peters) Petzolt, 86 of Brenham, entered eternal rest Saturday, December 5, 2015.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 9th from 9:00 a.m. until funeral service begins at 11:00 a.m. in Brenham Memorial Chapel. Rev. Erbey Gonzales will officiate. Burial will follow at Prairie Lea Cemetery.

She was born June 5, 1929 in the Wiedeville Community of Washington County to Albert L. and Annie (Dreyer) Peters. On November 25, 1948, she was married to Charlie Herman Petzolt at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Wiedeville. They made their home in Houston. Mrs. Petzolt was employed by Bricker Clinic as a receptionist and retired from there. The Petzolts were members of Messiah Lutheran in Houston. Later, the couple moved to Hempstead. In 2011, she returned to Brenham.

Mrs. Petzolt was a kind and loving person. She cherished her family; enjoyed dancing, and casino trips to Louisiana, Nevada and California.

Her loving family includes: children and their spouses: Judy Daughett and Joe Alvarez, Charles and Beverly Petzolt, Michael and Ava Petzolt, Patricia Petzolt; grandchildren, Michael Jr. and Stephanie Petzolt, Christie and Mack Dean, Natalie and Rich Fancher, Julie and Chance Odom, Justice and Rebecca “Mimi” Eakins, Ashley and Blake Olsen, Allysa Eakins; siblings and their spouses, Deloris Mikeska, Doris Siptak, William “Sonny” Peters, Annie Mae Buerger, Floreen Schulze, Gladys Mondrofsky, Carolyn and Antone Kubeczka, Eloise and Johnnie Eickenhorst; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: parents and husband Charlie Petzolt on April 24, 2002.

Memorials are requested to Immanuel Lutheran Church of Wiedeville.
