Evelyn Joyce Zientek

Evelyn Joyce Zientek, age 91of Brenham and the wife of Ed Zientek, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Oakland Manor Nursing Home in Giddings, TX. A graveside service is scheduled for 11 o’clock on Friday, April 4, 2014 at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston. A visitation from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 3 will be held at Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Evelyn was born January 24, 1923 in Schulenburg, Texas to Hedwig (Stoever) and Emil P. Kleiber. She worked for Data Title Company in Houston for 30+ years as a title supervisor before she retired. She was married to Edmund A. Zientek and moved to Brenham after their retirement. Evelyn loved to dance. She and Ed enjoyed dancing and were seen in attendance at some dancehall most every week-end. She was of the Lutheran faith.
