Harvey Bradley was born February 25, 1932, in Gainesville, Texas to Harvey and Rowena (Scoffield) Bradley. He was a graduate of Corpus Christi High School and attended Del Mar College. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. Harvey’s entire career involved the oilfield industry. He became vice president of The Rutherford Company in Houston. After retirement and moving to Brenham, he was employed as a car salesman for Appel Motors.

Harvey served his Lord in many ways. He was an active member of Brenham’s First Baptist Church and sang in the choir. His passion was sharing God’s word and visiting the unchurched while giving God all the glory. As a talented craftsman, he lovingly built classroom lecterns and various school necessities for the First Baptist Church School. God blessed him with a talent for woodcarvings and furniture that are treasured by his family and friends.

His surviving, loving family includes: wife of twenty-five years, Betty Bradley; daughters and son-in-law, Cindy Havard, Camille and Ronny Chapman, sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Karrie Bradley, Douglas Bradley, Tim and Martha Bradley, Patrick and Sherry Bradley, Matthew and Jennifer Bradley, stepdaughters, Sally Rost, Nancy Fritz and husband James, 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild; sisters Virginia Batson and Billie Jean Neill.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and 1 sister.
