Isidore Jozwiak

Isidore Ike Jozwiak, 82 of Chappell Hill, passed away Monday, September 15, 2014. Visitation will be Thursday, September 18th from 5-7 p.m. with rosary recited at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, September 19th at 10 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Jozef Musiol as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Justin Jozwiak, Hayden Jozwiak, John Corb, Richard Jozwiak, Bryan Wisnowski and Ben Klotz.

Mr. Jozwiak was born December 5, 1931 to Valentine and Ladislava (Zeintek) Jozwiak in Chappell Hill. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. On May 21, 1955, he married Eugenia Kujawa at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. He was employed as a mechanic at American Can Company, retiring in 1992. Mr. Jozwiak was a lifelong member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by: sister and brothers-in-law, Sara and Bernard Budnick, Louis Kendziora, Marian Loukanis, Willie Mattern.

Survivors include: wife, Eugenia Jozwiak; sons, Gary Jozwiak and wife Rachelle of Cypress, Glenn Jozwiak and wife Esther of Cypress; daughter Georgie Jozwiak of Houston; grandchildren Justin Jozwiak, Cassie Klecka, Ashley and Jon Corb, Nicolette Jozwiak, Hayden Jozwiak; great grandchildren, Caroline, Trista and Austin Jozwiak, Caleigh Klecka; sisters and brothers-in-law, Natalie Kendziora, Monica Loukanis, Hattie and Bennie Mikes, Mary Mattern Bebian and Lawrence Wisnoski; brothers and sisters-in-law, Edwin and Martha Jozwiak, Ike and Dorothy Jozwiak, V.J. and Margie Jozwiak.

Memorials are requested to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.
