Julio Garay Ruiz Jr.

Julio G. Ruiz Jr., age 67 of Brenham, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday June 7, 2017 with rosary recited at 7:00 p.m., in Brenham Memorial Chapel.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday June 8, 2017 in Brenham Memorial Chapel with Deacon Al Prescott officiating.

Burial will follow at 1:45 pm in the Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, Texas 77038.

He was born in Houston on November 10, 1949 to Julio and Janie (Garay) Ruiz.

Julio is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Kathy Ruiz; sons, Junior Ruiz and wife Tonilynn, Johnnie Ruiz; daughters, Tonya Jones and husband Quincy, Stacy Rodrigues and husband Victor; sisters, Gloria Arevalo, Rosa Olvera, Lidia Ruiz, Janie Villagomez; brother, Alvin Ruiz; grandchildren, Robert Ruiz, Naomi Rodriguez, Nicholas Rodriguez, Dylan Rodriguez, Cedric Miles Jr., Christopher Stegent, Summer Star Stegent, Issac Ruiz; great-grandchildren, Jason Graciano, Chance Miles.

Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Benito Ruiz; and sisters, Mary Jackson and Eulalia Soto.
