Dearest Khaki, Legrand, and families...today is December 29, 2016 and I was looking forward to going to Bedford to visit Kathyrine, never knowing she had been already blessed to be with Jesus. It grieves me to know I missed being with all of you. during the funeral. I will keep you in my prayers for peace and comfort during the continued time of healing. I dearly adored your Mother and was always amazed at her very personal Christmas cards and her overwhelming joy which she always shared during each visit. May God Bless you sweetly and continue to comfort you all. I pray our Lord comforts and supports you as you heal from this great loss of your one of a kind Mother.

What a wonderful gift you gave to children and adults alike through you gift of music. I will always remember you from school and at First United Methodist as a song bird who shared your talents unselfishly, and it continues on today through rainbows. Thank you Mrs. Jones!

This lady instilled in me a love for music that continues to this day which I have tried to pass on to my own children. What a beautiful soul!

Khaki and LeGrand - please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and yours at this time of the loss of your dear Mother. How she enriched the lives of all of us who she came in contact with - no matter the circumstances - no matter the locale. In the days and weeks ahead, please be comforted by the knowledge that she touched so many in a loving way, but she leaves behind a legacy that will live for the ages.
