Dear Schulz family,

We have known the Schulz family a long time. At the Schulz Drive In, we enjoyed the good times, food, and music!

Larry was an amazing man. I always enjoyed the stories he had to share from time to time. Our prayers go out to all the family.

Jody, Nicole, Savannah, Skylar,
My heart hurts for you all. Larry was one of the first people I met when we came down to Brenham and he, as well as you all, made me feel more welcome and at home than anyone in this area. I am truly Blessed to have known Larry for the very short 5 years, but he and his amazing family have touched my heart and will forever be remembered. He was a great spirit, happy, smiling always! May God watch over and keep you and guide you through this tough time. You know he's watching over you all now, as he did in life, with that great smile on his face.
We love you all!,

I was left speechless when Cindy called me and told me Larry had passed. I will always cherish the great times we all had together. Larry always had that infectious smile on and treated everyone as if he had know them a lifetime even if he had just met you. I ran into him and Matt a couple years ago out riding and it was delight to see him for just a few minutes. If we could all live our lives as passionately and dedicated as Larry did, this world would be a bundle of laughs. When I hear the phrase Live,Love,Laugh it reminds me of Larry he did just that and more in life. Our prayers are with you all,

Skylar, Kathy, Shirley and all of Larrys family and friends..... What a PERFECT TRIBUTE and recollection of his life!!! There aren't many people who I can honestly say only good things about and really mean them - but Larry is number one on that list!!! I've known him all my life and have so many different memories to cherish. I can hear his voice and see his sparkling blue eyes when I'd see him somewhere...."girl where you been? Give me a hug!!! You been okay?" Seemed like we always ended up talking about Skylar in every conversation!
The tribute on the trail ride Saturday was so perfect. I know he's smiling down on you all.
I can't make it for the services and his final 4th of July party but I'll be there in spirit. Treasure every memory you have until we all see him again! I have a feeling he will be finding ways to let you all know he's watching over each of you. That's just the kinda guy he is....
love hugs and prayers....

Jody & family, I never really got to know Larry as my connection to you was primarily through NAMI and our work when I was at CPS, which ironically is how we connected to our NAMI work. Thinking of all of you as you process the grief of losing a loved one but joy in knowing that he is no longer suffering and that he will be with you always in the wonderful memories you created. I know that he will always be an Angel looking down at his family and watching over them. What a blessing he was for all his family and friends. Prayers continue as you manage the days ahead. We extend our sympathy to you upon the death of Larry. Roger enjoyed having him help with projects in the country, even the unusual ones like creating a unique concrete drain from a natural spring into a historical spring tank. He was a good man. Cherish your memories as we do...continue the legacy he left for you.

I'm so very sorry for you loss. I can't imagine your sorrow. He was so proud of his family. When I think of Larry, I think of his big smile and his sparkling eyes. The last time I saw him - I hadn't seen him in years and I had just move back to Brenham. He gave me a big bear hug and we talked like no time had passed at all. He was a good guy and will be missed.

Jody, Nicole, Savannah, Skylar and family,

I am so sorry to hear the loss of Larry. Every time I saw him, he was always smiling and I will always remember him that way. I do not question what God's plans are for each of us, but he did take a good man home. I hope you can find comfort in knowing he is in a better place, and will always be watching over all of you; especially his grandchildren which I know he adored dearly. I remember bringing Kaylynn to see Gentri a few months back and Larry was at Savannah's house. He did not skip a beat as he chased Gage around the front yard. Hold on to the good times and memories that you had with Larry, no one can ever take that from you.
