Marie Fehler

Marie Fehler, 81, widow of Reverend Harold Fehler, died Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Colonial Belle Nursing Home. She was born on October 27, 1932 in Elma, Iowa to August and Sophia (Ball) Prinz. Marie was a homemaker for most of her life but was also employed at Brenham State School, a job she thoroughly enjoyed. She loved being the wife of a minister and was very fond of all of the churches they served throughout the years. She was a very kind, generous and loving person.

Survivors include granddaughters Janna Chovanec (Stephen) and Kimberly Schoellman, grandson Erick Schoellman, great grandchildren Gavin and Adalyn Chovanec, brother Mel Prinz (Peggy) and sister in law Delores Prinz. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, children Janice Duesterhoft and Steven Fehler and brother Charles Prinz. She is also survived by her church family of St. Paul's Lutheran of Phillipsburg who were so kind to her.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 14 at 10:00 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Phillipsburg.
