Mary Adele (Woods) Goss

Mary Adele Goss, age 86, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017.

She was born November 25, 1930 in Houston to Joseph Elbert and Mary (Graffman) Woods. On September 2, 1949, she married David Henry Goss in Houston. Mary was a hairdresser in the Springbranch area of Houston and owned Ridgecrest Coiffures for many years.

She enjoyed bird watching and collected items with beautiful pictures of birds. After retiring, she and her husband traveled the United States in their mobile home. They enjoyed visiting other travelers in the parks. They would often cook for resorts they stayed in and many times were asked to stay longer than they had planned. They were members of many travel clubs including Coast to Coast and Thousand Trails.

She was preceded in death by: parents; husband; and brothers, Billy Woods and Claude Woods.

Her loving family includes: son, Daniel “Danny” Goss and wife Deborah; daughter, Karen Garcia and husband Thomas; grandchildren, Teresa (Goss) York and husband Casey, Bryan Goss and wife Crystal, Dustin Sulak and wife Wanda; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Saturday, January 28th at 10:30 a.m. in Woodlawn Garden of Memories Cemetery in Houston.

Memorials are requested to Washington County Healthy Living Association.
