Mat Hobgood - Guestbook

Amber, My heart is broken for you and your family. I loved your dad, he was truly a best friend to me. I didn't know of his passing until a few minutes ago. Please give your Aunt Marty my sincere apology for contacting her on fb. I missed Mat deeply a few months ago and I understand now why she didn't respond. Please don't hesitate if you ever need me Amber, Brandy(325-245-5122), Jay, Carole, & Cassie Farrington. (My dad Jay, worked with your grandpa at Chenier Business School in San Angelo many years back.) We are saddened for the loss of both Mat and your Uncle Michael. February 27,2015

Kolten and I are very sorry to hear about your Mat. Kolten will never forget his trip with Dylan and Mat to the beach and seeing and touching the sea turtles. You are all in our prayers.

I was saddened to read of Mat's death and extend my sincere condolences to his family and all those who loved him. I also learned of Mike's death and also counted him as a friend during my time living in the area.

Mat was a good friend to me, always energetic and funny. He was especially there for me once when I needed a friend, and I have never forgotten his kindness.

When I think of Mat, I remember him as someone who would stop and help you change a flat tire while my first impulse would be to drive by.

Rest in peace, Mat, in the loving and gracious care of your Higher Power.

Mat loved his family, his friends, and life. He was a fighter who never quit. There wasn't a lazy bone in his body. When he fell, Mat ALWAYS dusted himself off and tried again. He completed the program SOBER! He IS a inspiration to me, as is Mike also. I will sorely miss both of them. My deepest sympathy. Jimmy Smith (830) 992-0510
