Obituary

Michael Henry Malinowski and Elizabeth “Sissy” (Felchak) Malinowski of Chappell Hill were killed in a tragic automobile accident on Sunday, November 22, 2015.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Thursday November 26, 2015 with the Rosary recited by Msgr. John C. Malinowski at 7:00 p.m. at Brenham Memorial Chapel. The Funeral Mass for the repose of the souls of Michael and Elizabeth will be offered at 10:00 am on Friday, November 27, 2015 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Chappell Hill with Bishop Daniel Garcia, officiating and brother priests as con-celebrants, Msgr. John C. Malinowski, Rev. Jozef Musiol, SDS, JCD, Msgr. Benedict Zientek, Msgr. Boleslaus Zientek, Msgr. John McCaffey, Reverend Roman Frayna, Reverend Joseph Varickamackal and all attending priests. Burial to follow in the St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery (Cegielski Section).

Pallbearers will be Jim, Darrell and Brian Malinowski, Blake Moehlmann, Kevin Kaminski, Jeff Grimm, Patrick Fite, Cullen Kubeczka, Vincent Jr. and Matt Krolczyk, Mitchell Stepan and Chad Riley. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Lewandowski, Kenneth and Scott Malinowski, Woodrow Dubie, Brian Johnson, Mark Beseda and David Bohack.

Michael was born on April 27, 1937 to the late Johnie and Ann Lee (Meleski) Malinowski. Elizabeth was born on February 8, 1944 to the late Frank (Jr) and Edna (Havens) Felchak. They were united in Holy Matrimony at Christ The King Catholic Church in Houston on June 24, 1961. To this union were born three children; Diane, Donald Ray and Robert.

Michael and Elizabeth were lifelong members of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Chappell Hill. Michael was a member of Knights of Columbus Council #11277 and Elizabeth a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. Michael retired from Hormel after 30 plus years of service and then worked part time for Chappell Hill Sausage Co. Elizabeth retired from Waller ISD. They both enjoyed their retirement years on their farm, raising cattle. Elizabeth enjoyed playing cards and bingo.

Michael and Elizabeth are survived by their children: Diane Malinowski and loving friend Richard Sebesta; Donald Ray (Mary) Malinowski and Robert Malinowski. Cherished grandchildren: Dalton Nutt; Michaela Nutt; Karah Malinowski; Robert “RJ” Malinowski, Jr.; step-grandchildren: Ashley; Brittny & Haleigh. Great-granddaughters: Chasity and Ashlyn.

Michael is survived by brothers and sisters-in-law: Reverend Monsignor John C. Malinowski; Eugene (Brenda) Malinowski, Alvin (Virginia) Malinowski; sister Evelyn Williams and sister-in-law, Barbara Malinowski.

Elizabeth is survived by sisters and brother-in-law: Florence Lewandowski, Jo Ann (Greg) Kaminski and Tammie Felchak. They both are survived by numerous nieces, nephews, loving family and friends.

Michael and Elizabeth both were preceded in death by their parents and granddaughter Haley Malinowski. Michael by his brother W.S. “Bill” Malinowski; sister-in-law, Helen Malinowski. Elizabeth by brothers-in-law; Sigmund Lewandowski and Joseph Oatis and niece Denise (Lewandowski) Turner.

Michael proudly served his country in the United States Army. Michael and Elizabeth loved one another in a special way. They were simple hard working people who loved their GOD, followed by a great love for their family. The love they shared for each other was a unique love until the very end. They will be greatly missed by family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the St. Stanislaus Building Fund or the Cegielski Family Cemetery Fund.
