With Uncle Norbert’s passing he is going to be missed by many friends and relatives. One of the many things that stand out about uncle Norbert was his love of Polka Music and the pleas consistently made to us, nieces, nephews, and any else that would give him a minute was “We Must Be Proud of Our Czech Heritage”. He would say go to a polka dance or church picnic. I hope we in the next generation/s can continue to share that message to preserve our rich Czech Heritage with the same passion to our children.

One thing for sure when uncle Norbert was attending a Vrazels Polka Band dance or event when the last set was being played (the sing along) he was sure to be one of the first at the base of the stage giving all he had.

Buh vám žehnej vždy - May God Bless You
Dobrou noc

Mary Lee,
I'm sorry to hear of Norbert's passing. Elizabeth and I first met him about 40 years ago at a house party that your cousin Leonard Nemec's hosted. He was always so much fun to be around. May God find a very special place for him in Heaven.
