Norma Kay (Smith) Schulze

Norma Kay (Smith) Schulze, age 66, of Brenham passed away March 21, 2024 with family by her side.

Norma was born on August 29, 1957 in Onley, Texas to A. Norman and Kay (Atchley) Smith.

Norma was on the pep squad and graduated from Permian High School in Odessa, Texas. She spent most of her life working as a secretary and worked for her father who owned an oil field company. She met Marcus Schulze and they married January 2, 2004 in Giddings Texas.

Norma enjoyed doing crafts and painting. She was a talented piano player. She loved her friends dearly and was always keeping in touch with everyone. Norma enjoyed shopping and spoiling her grandchildren with gifts. She was very fond of her only granddaughter, Alexis. She and Marcus loved listening and dancing to country western music.

Norma is preceded in death by her mother and her sister Cynthia Simmons.

Norma’s memory will be cherished by her beloved husband Marcus, father Norman, children Chad and Jaime Hennessey and their son Caleb, Brandon and Ginger Hennessey and their daughter Alexis Alfano and husband Sterling, and step-son Noah; step-children Matthew Schulze, Megan Schulze and Jesse Hicks and son Nathan Hicks.
