Ralph Wayne Hartmann

Ralph W. Hartmann, age 68, crossed over to life in the Spirit on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at his home in Katy.

Ralph Wayne Hartmann was born September 9, 1948 in Houston, Texas to parents Edwin Hugo and Ora Mae Hilda (Ebner) Hartmann.

He was a graduate of Brenham High School- Class of 1967, and of Blinn College receiving an Associate Degree. He proudly served in the U.S. Army in Korea.

While working in Brenham, Ralph was employed by Blue Bell Creameries. He also worked as a bank teller for 16 years. Ralph was employed by HEB as a cashier for 17 years, until July 20, 2016.

His hobbies include antiquing, coin collecting, gardening and yard work.

He is preceded in death by his father Edwin Hartman and nephew Frank Coffman.

Surviving loving family includes: mother, Ora Mae Hartmann; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Chester Hintz, Jr.; niece, Amy Rains and husband Daniel Rains and their children Franklin Cline, Dustin Cline, Hailey Rains, Isabella Rains, Daniel Rains Jr.; nephew, Dwayne Hintz; niece, Nancy Coffman-Phillips and husband Aaron Phillips and their children Brianna Coffman, Christian Coffman, Landon Phillips, Madeline Phillips; aunt, Dorothy Henry; great aunt, Edna Ebner; along with numerous cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, September 30th from 6 until 8 p.m., in Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 1st at 2 p.m., in Brenham Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jeffrey Willey officiating. Interment will follow in the Carmine Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Dwayne Hintz, Franklin Cline, Aaron Phillips, Daniel Rains, Sam Rosamond, Eric Martinez and Calin Martinez . Honorary pallbearers will be Dustin Cline, Christian Coffman, Landon Phillips, Daniel Rains, Jr., Brianna Coffman, Hailey Rains, Isabelle Rains and Madeline Phillips.
