I have known Milton for about 60 years and always thought very highly of him. He comes from a wonderful family and I am sorry that I never met his children.

Jean,

What a wonderful person Milton Maly was while on this earth.
He was faithful and determined in so many areas.
I looked for his name in the Brethren Journal every month as he edited it for many years.
He was a missionary and I reveled in the stories he would bring back when he would return. He helped inspire me to do many foreign mission trips in my adult life.
I also enjoyed working with him while we were both working at Hospice Brenham.
He was never ashamed of the Gospel and shared it with many.
Praying for you and all the family during this time of separation.

Or deepest sympathy and love to all of you in the family on your loss. May God bless and strengthen you. Michael and Ginger, and Milton's sisters, I thought a lot of Milton and counted him as one of my friends as well as a co-pastor. Wish that both of us could have made it to the funeral service, but it's very difficult for me to drive at certain times because of my Parkinson's and Pearl cannot drive yet either since her vision was damaged by her stroke 3 years ago.

We are so sorry for your loss. I only knew Rev. Maly for a short period while our sons were in Boy Scouts together. During this short period, I learned that he was a wonderful human being. Keeping him alive in your hearts and through the memories of the good times, will last a lifetime.

I always will remember how soft spoken he was. He loved children and was always smiling. Learned a lot from his sermons...he was easy to listen to. When I came back from the war in July of 1970, he gave me a bear hug... and said a prayer of thanks. Good memories.

This great man was a comfort to so many in time of need. So smart, so talented, so many stories! I had the pleasure of being his running buddy a few days a week. He took great pleasure in poppy seed kolaches and Independence Backyard Pecan Coffee that was brought in secret in my thermos to his home. Many thought he needed my help. The truth was, I needed his. Even in his last years he would help me through a difficult time in my family's life by being my new pastor in his own home.
He loved his family, especially "Sparky" (you know who you are!) and his lovely children and grandchildren. He was a great educator, carpenter, nature conservationist, and friend. A great minister and all who knew him know he had a heart of gold. He will be greatly missed. God continue to bless the Maly family.

Jean and family: I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I've been trying to think of how to express my sympathy but can only think of how excited Milton must be embarking on this magnificent journey to heaven. I can only imagine the joy he must feel in shedding his earthly body and meeting our Savior! I know he will be missed by many, but am sure he will be watching over all of you and waiting for the day you join him in eternity! Sending love an sympathy your way~
