Rita's mum and my mum were sisters and she and ken knew me when I was born in India in 1944 they were very close to my parents and visited us when we came to England.
,in the 70's Ken and Rita came regularly to stay with us in Kendal and we spent many happy holidays in Texas..
Rita was one of the most caring kind people I know and she was just like a mum to me. I shall miss not being able to talk to her but have many photos and videos which I will cherish.
Our thoughts are with Ken and all the family at this very sad time.

To Kenneth and all of the Griffith Family: Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this sad time. I considered Rita my dearest friend, and enjoyed her and Kenneth's friendship. I will miss her very much. May her soul rest in peace in the house of the Lord. John and Jean Carryer.

Our sympathy to Rita's family and friends. Rita was a joy to all who had the privilege of knowing her. We are thankful to have had the gift of knowing her.

To live on in the hearts of those left behind is not to die.

What a sweet, loving lady! I always enjoyed visiting with Rita & Kenneth when they came to the school reunion. I am proud to know that they volunteered with Hospice Brazos Valley because I do too.

Heaven has gained an awesome angel.

On behalf of Midge and I, the friendship shared with the Griffith family will never be forgotten. Good times and good talks were had by all. God bless you now and in the days to come. May His peace and His comfort shine around you and lift you up. Heaven received a beautiful angel with a kind, gentle heart.

Kenneth and family-my heart is saddened by the loss of Rita. I will never forget her talks about family and her beloved countries that she knew so well. It was always interesting to talk to her and Kenneth. Most of the time they would both talk at the same time and it always made me laugh. They shared so much with me and that made me happy. You never know how and why the Lord puts people in your life, but I am so glad that he put them in mine. They always talked about God and family-important to all of us. They had such a strong faith and that helped me a lot!!! I know that she is in heaven with David and she is so so happy to see him again. Praying for peace for the family.
