Obituary
Sara Hart age 98 of Brenham passed away Monday, January 23, 2017.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Brenham Memorial Chapel.
Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, January 27, 2017 at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Rd., Houston, TX. with Rev. John Treude officiating.
She was born December 31,1918 in Nashville, Tennessee to Marshall and Jimmie Lee (Harwood) Cook. Sara married Lt. James A. Hart, Jr. on October 3, 1943. Sara was a resident of Kruse Village for 12 years.
She is survived by: her son, James B. Hart and his wife Karen; granddaughter, Jamie Marie Hatcher and husband Donald; great grandsons, Benjamin Pierce Hatcher and Brayden Keith Hatcher.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; sisters, Lola Finnigen and Beverly Hier.
Services are in the care of Brenham Memorial Chapel, 2300 Stringer St., Brenham.
