Obituary

Thelma Nell Neutzler, 76 of Burton, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015 at St. Joseph Regional Hospital, Bryan.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 2nd from 6-8 p.m. in Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Graveside service will be Thursday, December 3rd at 2 p.m. at LaBahia Cemetery, Burton with Rev. Mark Moore officiating.

Thelma was born February 19, 1939 in Markley, Texas to Leo, Sr. and Allie (Birdwell) Logan. On February 28, 1959, she was married to Franklin Neutzler in Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Greenvine by Rev. Theo Sager. Thelma loved cooking for the public, while employed by Burton Café and The Brazos Belle. She also worked for K & K Sausage Company in Carmine and Blue Bell Creameries, from where she retired. Memberships included: Emmanuel Lutheran Church, LaBahia Turn Verein, LaBahia Cemetery Association and Sons of Herman. She cherished visiting out of town family members.

She was preceded in death by: parents; husband; siblings and spouses, Beryl Logan, Daune and Glenda Logan, John Logan, Theresa Earlyne and Jessie Strawbridge, Vinita and Oliver Neutzler, Gloria and Jim Smith; brothers-in-law, Lee Dell Neutzler and Calvin Neutzler.

Surviving loving family: daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Charles Gaskamp of Burton, Tammie and Jim Brown of Greenwood, Arkansas; granddaughter, Megan Anglen and husband Brad of Bokoshe, Oklahoma; siblings and their spouses, Robert and Mary Logan, Leo Jr. and Jesse Mae Logan, Marilyn “Sue” and Joe Williams, Lynette and Jim Facteau; sister-in-law, Mary Dien Nuetzler; numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials are requested to Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Greenvine.
