Tado was born September 11, 1942 to Pete and Stella (Cendalski) Kwiatkowski. He was baptized, received First Holy Communion and confirmed at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brenham and attended St. Mary's School. He married Gale Snearly on May 29, 1965 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Houston.

His great loves were his family and friends, his music and his garden. Tado was a great musician and no matter who called and needed a base player, he was always glad to help them. He loved playing and singing for the wonderful people that came to the dances...his goal was to make the dance crowd happy and get them out on the dance floor. He enjoyed playing with many bands for over 64 years, to name a few: Randy and the Rockets (later called Randy and the Serenaders), Daniel and the Country Boys, Lazy Farmers, This Is It, and Charles and the Fabulous Four and many other bands over the years that he played with when they needed a base player.

He was a man who loved life, was a very faithful man and lived and shared his faith with all those he came in contact with. He never met a stranger. After 36 years he retired from Brentex Mills and then he took care of his grandchildren until they were of school age then he delighted in picking them up from school.

Tado is survived by: his loving wife, Gale of 49 years; his loving family: daughter, Sissi Wellmann and husband Mark; sons, Chip, Matt and wife Kelly, and Lenny and wife Laura; grandchildren, Ashley and Aaron Wellmann, Kylie Dasbach, Reagan and Jacob Kwiatkowski, and Alex, Joe and Hanna Kwiatkowski; brother and sisters-in-law, Edward "Shorty" and Lillian Kwiatkowski, and Shirley Kwiatkowski; sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha and Harold Langford, and Patsy and John Chovanec; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bill and Barbara Snearly, Norma and Bill Pollizzio and Jerry and Karen Snearly; many nieces and nephews.

He was proceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, brother, Pete Kwiatkowski, Jr., sisters, Regina and Marie Kwiatkowski, and nephew, Edmond "Sonny" Bilski.

Pallbearers will be his sons Chip, Matt and Lenny Kwiatkowski and Mark Wellmann and his grandsons, Aaron Wellmann, Jacob, Alex and Joe Kwiatkowski. Honorary pallbearers will be all his nephews and musician friends.
