William "Billy" Glynn Wendling

William Glynn Wendling, 82, of Brenham, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Regional Health Center in Bryan, Texas. Visitation is from 5-7pm on Friday, December 5. Funeral Service is at 10 a.m., Saturday, December 6, both at Brenham Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

William “Billy” was born May 29, 1932 in Madisonville, Texas to parents Walter and Elizabeth (Bradford) Wendling. Although he never married he was a gentle man who dearly loved his family and friends. His interests were western movies, country music, hummingbirds and electric trains. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Brenham.

His loving family includes sister Dotty Jo Hensen; special sister Jean Downs; nieces and nephews Franklin Hensen (wife Phyllis), Vincent Hensen (fiancé Cindy Beckendorf), Shawn Hensen along with Danny Ruley, Joan Morgan, Karen Bivens; great nieces and nephews Chad and Casey Hensen, Jason Hensen, Amanda and Kelsey Hensen, Christian, Victoria, Zaquiri and Ashlynn Hensen, Cody Beckendorf (wife Katie), Trevor Beckendorf; great great niece and nephew Brynlee Beckendorf and Tristan Hensen .

Billy was preceded in death by his parents; brother, 2 sisters, great nephew and brother-in-law.

Pallbearers are Shawn Hensen, Chad Hensen, Randy Schwartz, Robert Michalak, Jimmy Bradford, Cody Beckendorf and Trevor Beckendorf.
