Alvis (Al) Grohman, Sr. - Guestbook

Dorothy,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. You and Al are two of my favorite couples at the dances. I did not hear about it until today. I feel so bad I didn't make it to show my respect for him. We will miss him.

Dear Dorothy and Family,
I am so sorry that I was not able to be at the service for Al. I was not sure when the services would be taking place and could not see myself bothering you at that time. Please know, I am thinking of you and all the family at this time of loss for you. Al was a great man and you both raised wonderful children of which, I am proud to have one of them in our family. May God bless all of you. If there is anything I can do for you, please let me know.

Dorothy and family, our prayers go out to you on the loss of Al. He was (as were both of you) very special to many people. He will be remembered as one who never looked for praise or attention, but was always friendly and willing to help someone in need. Dorothy, you and Al will always be special and remembered by us for the many dances we had together; your warm and friendly ways and for the special assistance that Al gave our daughter in time of need. May God Bless his Soul and give you and your family strength and courage in this time of sorrow.

Dear Grohman Family

I worked with Al when I was a RADAR Engineer at the Houston Maintenance Engineering Field Office and later as an Engineer at the Houston Air Traffic Control Center. I thought a lot of him as a person of high morals and integrity and am sorry to hear of his passing. He left a mark for others to strive for and you can be proud of him.

May God Bless the Grohman family in this time of sorrow. Al was a great friend and co-worker. He left a legacy of one who loved God and his family. During our tenure of FAA employment, FAA personnel were like family and we all shared many good times together. He will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him personaly. There is a saying that you will meet someone in your life who leaves their footprints in your heart. Al left his footprints in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Kevin,Lonnie and your Families I have known you'll for 27+ years and i consider you'll part of my extended family because you and your families are very dear to my heart. In this time of loss I would like to extend my deepest sympathies especially to you two gentlemen but also to entire Grohman Family that I am sure are all as wonderful and caring as you'll are because of the wonderful parents that brought all of you'll up to be the pride and joy of those same parents. May God Bless each and every one of you and may he give you strength to go on in life and realize that your Father is now in a much better place not only because he has no more hurt but he is also now able to watch over each and every one of you all at the same time. I know first hand how hard it is to lose a parent since I have lost both of mine, so just know that only time will heal the hurt. So staying in close touch to your friends and family make each day a little easier, and just know you truly have a friend that is here for you. If there is any thing at all that will make things easier in this time of sorrow please do not hesitate to call and talk or ask whatever it might be. Love You guys and my Prayers will be with You and Your Family.
Take Care Of You!!!
