My Dear Family,
I love you so much, and full of emotion as I read about dad's life. We hurt for our loss and joy as he meets our Lord and loved ones all at the same time. I was not able to get the service but read about his life and was blessed. I wrote down the statement, "his greatest pride was his deep faith to family, friends and strangers," and we felt his love on meeting him for the first time. How I loved reading how his grandchildren believed there wasn't anything he couldn't do. How I would have loved to hear him sing Amazing Grace with the guitar. His son Gentry is following in his footsteps. My arms are around all of you, and know it is God's arms surrounding all of you giving a peace beyond our understanding. Alene Markillie
