Obituary

Angela Janet Schubert, 85 of Brenham, passed away at her home Monday, December 9, 2013. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, December 11th, 2013 from 5 until 8 p.m. with rosary recited at 7 p.m. at Brenham Memorial Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, December 12th, 2013 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Ernesto Elizondo as celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Angela was born April 21,1928 in Brenham, Texas to Frank Sr. and Hattie (Slavinski) Zientek. On April 23, 1949 she married Charles F. Schubert in Brenham, Texas.

Angela was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, St. Mary’s Altar Society, SPJST and St. Mary’s School PTO. She enjoyed playing cards, dancing with the Top Cat Dance Club, cooking and caring for her family. She was very proud of her children’s accomplishments.

Loving family includes husband of 64 years Charles F. Schubert, children; Charles Lane Schubert and wife Pam, Bob Schubert and wife Patsy, Mark Schubert and wife Dottie Stoddard, Kathy Schubert Randermann, Kimberly Schubert Williams and husband Michael, grandchildren; Jennifer Schubert Mertz and husband Scot ,Brad and Mandy Schubert, Kevin and Heather Schubert, Leighton and Brittany Schubert, Leigha Schubert Anelli and husband Phillip, Abigail Schubert Gore and husband Matt, Chad and Jessica Schubert, Orry and Cortney Randermann, Rinn Randermann and Susan Walker, Jackson and Harris Williams; great grandchildren, Caleb, Zachary and Hannah Mertz, Mila and Grey Schubert, Holden Schubert, Analeise Schubert Gautreaux, Tristan, Tanner and Tatum Gore, Chad, Jr., Ethan and Peyton Schubert, Madelyn Randermann, and future great grandchild Randermann; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Leo and Evelyn Schubert and numerous nieces and nephews.

Angela was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, great-grandchild Charles Trip Schubert, seven brothers; Stanley, Frank, Steve, Joe, Bernard, Wallace and Ed, four sisters; Janie, Mary, Julie and Dorothy and parents-in-law Charles E. and Ella Schubert.
