Anna Ruth (Ann) Berry

Anna Ruth (Ann) Berry, 77 of Hunt, Texas died Monday, March 29, 2004 after a long battle with cancer. Ann was born on December 9, 1926 in Ewing, Texas to Lillie and Ezekiel Huffman. On July 29, 1949 she married William M. (Chigger) Berry in Lufkin, Texas. They moved to Lake Jackson, Texas in 1953 where Ann worked for Self Jewelry Store and many years at Brazosport Independent School District. They retired in 1982 and moved to their farm in Kenney, Texas where they lived until December 2003 when they moved to Hunt, Texas to be close to family. Ann was an active member in St. Paul Lutheran Church of Phillipsburg.

Ann is survived by her husband William Berry of Hunt, Texas; sons Raymond (Roddy) and Darlyn Berry of Ingram, Texas and Robert (Bobby) Berry of Columbus, Texas; grandchildren Monica and Mark Kiefer of Hunt, Texas, Joey and Karman Berry of Bellville, Texas, Brent and Missy Berry of Round Rock, Texas and Jeffery and Jamie Berry of Cat Spring, Texas; great-grandchildren Kolbie and Karsen Kiefer, Alivia Berry, Bailee, Makenna and Brooks Berry and Hunter and Karrigan Berry.

Visitation with family will be from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, April 2, 2004 in Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 3, 2004 in St. Paul Lutheran Church of Phillipsburg with Pastor Jennifer Bohls officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers are Brent Berry, Joey Berry, Jeff Berry, Scott Robinson, Gary Robinson and James Fletcher. Honorary pallbearer is Karsen Kiefer.

Memorials may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church of Phillipsburg.
