To the Leibham Family,

I will always cherish the many nursing tips that your Mother taught me as a new RN at St. Jude Hospital starting in 1978. She was definitely a role model, not only to me, but to so many nurses, new and experienced. She demonstrated excellent work ethics, never ending stamina, a great team player (actually she would do your work to help you out) a true patient advocate and above all...FAITHFUL. Working the night shift, she rarely sat to rest. Instead she walked all night checking on all of the patients on the floor with her handy flashlight, trying her best not to awaken them as she checked their IV solution, the line, rate, and site, and then ran her hand under their body to make sure they were dry and the sheets were not wrinkled. If she did sit, she was busy charting and maybe eating a snickers,(true multitasking)!! She would make me tired just watching her.

I was truly Blessed to have her in my life and will hold those great memories of us nursing together in my heart forever. RIP Mrs. Leibham. I am sure she is a servant in Heaven as she was on Earth...

Peace, Prayers, and Blessings to all
