Antonio "Tony" Ortiz

Antonio “Tony” Ortiz, age 39, of Chappell Hill passed away March 27, 2024.

Antonio was born July 28, 1984, in Houston, Texas to Rodolfo and Maria Ortiz.

Tony was a brother, husband, father, and soon-to-be grandfather. Tony married his middle school sweetheart, Lourdes on May 17 th, 2003. They then built a home for their growing family in Chappell Hill, Texas. Tony was a business owner, who opened Ortiz Tire & Auto in Industry, Texas in August of 2022 and worked many weekends at gun and ammo shows all over the U.S. When Tony wasn’t working, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was God-fearing, simple, family man. If you knew Tony, you knew he was a hard worker who was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Tony never met a stranger and loved to host weekend barbecues at his home surrounded by friends and family.

Tony is preceded in death by his father, Rodolfo Ortiz, grandparents, Amalia and Juan Ortiz and grandfather, Leopoldo Montes.

Tony leaves behind his wife, Lourdes Ortiz, son, Rodolfo Ortiz (Nereida), daughters Ruby Ortiz, and Reese Ortiz. He also leaves behind his mother, Maria Ortiz and brothers, Jose (Rosa) Ortiz, and Hector (Delilah) Ortiz and numerous nieces and nephews..

Visitation will be Thursday, March 28, 2024 from noon until 7pm, with family present from 5-7pm at Brenham Memorial Chapel, 2300 Stringer Street, Brenham, Texas 77833.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 29, 2024 at 10:00am at Brenham Memorial Chapel.
