Arlene Rost - Guestbook

I was deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Arlene Rost. My thoughts are with her family. Words cannot even begin to express my sorrow of her passing. Arlene was always so sweet to me when I was just starting out as an agent. She would always take the time to help me. She always asked about me personally in almost every conversation we had. I truly enjoyed her as an underwriter.

What can you say about such a special lady. We worked together by phone for many years and she was always willing to help you out, whatever the situation, there was always an answer. She was easy to speak with and always seemed to have a smile....you could hear it. She will be missed.

I admire Arlene for her upbeat attitude. Whenever I've seen her over the last couple of years she was always looking forward. I'm sorry her journey has ended but glad she will no longer suffer. I miss being part of the Germania family and the afternoon break table that she was part of.

Rest in Pease,

Arlene will be missed by all that knew her, I saw her occasionally when I was at the home office and tried to remember to bring her candy , she liked her candy , she always had candy to share with her co-workers, anytime you would call she was always cheerful and friendly. I can truthfully say she was a great lady to know and will miss her.

I worked with Arlene for many years at Germania and I remember her as a person who possessed a book of knowledge in the Underwriting department. Her fellow workers relied on this knowledge and upon her retirement expressed to her how much she would be missed, not only because of her expertise, but also because she was a true friend. I enjoyed having lunch with her in the breakroom and sharing our views about the happenings in everyday life. She was a trooper and I feel blessed to have known her and call her my friend. Our sympathy to the family and may the Lord bless each of you during this difficult time.

I have great memories of Arlene from my Germania Days. She was one of them.. I can still see her walking down that hall. May she rest in peace and have no more disease and discomfort and be reunited with her loved ones.
