Arthur F. Marshall

Arthur F. Marshall, 82, of Brenham passed away on May 9, 2008 at College Station Medical Center.

Arthur was a veteran of the U.S. Navy in World War II and served in the Naval Reserve. He is a retired engineer from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company after 30 years of service. His hobbies were fishing and building model ships. He was an avid reader and an amateur historian.

Arthur was preceded in death by his mother Mary V. Marshall, father Samuel L. Marshall and brother James Marshall.

Arthur is survived by his son Weldon Clay Marshall of Brenham, Texas; sister Aline Marshall Warren, of Grapeland, Texas; nieces Carol Adams of Columbus, Texas, Judy Meitzen and Tomi Warren of Conroe, Texas.

Visitation is from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 13, 2008 in Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Funeral services are at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 14, 2008 in Brenham Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Rosewood Cemetery, 2602 South Houston Street, Humble, Texas.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
