Dearest Norwood and Family,
How we loved your precious Barbara! She was the definition of class, grace, beauty, and kindness! The two of you have always been so kind to us and our family. We have so enjoyed the cherished times spent together. We will dearly miss Barbara, but will always remember her with fondness and gratitude.

My deepest sympathy to the family. Barbara was a wonderful person. When I went to work at Bohne Hospital in April of 1983 she was one of the first people that I met. She made me feel right at home with her bigger than life personality. Gary Appelt was very fortunate to have her working for him. I'm not sure who was the boss(Her or Him). She kept everyone inline. It was such a blessing just to know her. Rejoice in the memories made over the years for she was truly a one of a kind.

We are all so sorry to hear of Barbara’s passing. She had that rare quality that made all those around her feel so special with her open sincere friendliness. Although our paths haven’t been close lately, I want you to know that I’ve often thought of you and Barbara as some of my favorite people. May God bless you and your family and may your grief be lessened knowing she is in the arms of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

I couldn't agree more that Barbara was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. I am so very sorry to hear of her passing. A void is left, but I count my blessings for having known her well enough to be called "babe." Please don't tell me she called every guy that! Barbara was an original and it always brightened my day to see her. The entire family has always been super special to my family. To Norwood, Mark and Lyndi I offer my most sincere sympathy. She was so uplifting and always a ray of sunshine. I am very sorry for your loss. Barbara will be missed by all of us.

I am so sorry to hear of Barbara’s passing. Barbara worked in my private medical practice for over 20 years. She was extremely dedicated and contributed immensely to the success of my practice. Sandi and I send our deepest sympathies to Norwood and family.

Norwood, Mark, and Lyndi...my heart is hurting at the loss of your beautiful, always smiling, loving wife, mother, and my family friend. She was a joy to be around every time I saw her. I’m so very sorry for your loss. I’m pretty sure Barbara Lange and Barbara Gaskamp already have a heavenly party planned! Norwood, Mark, Renna, & Lyndi, I was so deeply saddened to hear of Barbara's passing. My deepest condolences go out to each of you. Barbara was such a wonderful wife, mother, and friend to so many. She was a true Trojan at heart, never giving up no matter what befell her!! Though she will be greatly missed by those left behind, I have great faith that she is with Jesus, healed and perfect once again. One day, those who know Christ as she did will see her again! I will be one of those and I look forward to that day! I pray that Christ will envelope you in His love, comfort you and heal your broken hearts until that time comes.

I so enjoyed running into Barbara over the many years we lived together in Brenham. She always had a friendly word and was just a breath of fresh air to visit with. She was a special person and will be missed by all who knew her.

Barbara was the sweetest lady. I always enjoyed talking to her when she called or came by the Blinn HR office. My condolences and prayers for the family.

Norwood, I am so sorry. Heaven has most definitely gained an angel. She was beautiful inside and out. Praying for you and all of your family.

Mr. Lange, I am so sad to hear that Big Barbara passed away. I enjoyed her so very much over the years. Her laugh & smile was as genuine as her heart. She was one of the kindest people I knew. Much love to you and your family.
