I'm so sad to lose Bernice. I have memories from years ago when we lived on the farm and Bernice and her sister Lucille would come and pick me up with their car and we would ride through the pastures and fields over the terraces. Sometimes they let me ride in the rumble seat which was fun but could also be terrifying.
She and Lucille would also give me permanents - usually twice a year. The smell was eyewatering.
Good times. Bernice was a great person.
May God hold her in his arms and give her eternal rest.

Mark and Lori,
My heart house out to you and your families. Aunt Bernice had the best sense of humor...and made the best fried chicken! Thank God she always made plenty, Mark! I have so many fond memories from when we were all growing up. I pray those around you provide comfort and peace as you go through the next days and weeks ahead. My most sincere condolences. Debbi

My deepest sympathy on the loss of your loved one. May she rest in peace. I always enjoyed visiting with her when she worked at Food City and across the fence when her mother lived next door to my grandparents. Very sweet lady!

Another beloved neighbor from this neighborhood. Bernice always called & kept watch for her neighbor & always had positive & great phone visits. Sure will miss that distinctive voice & laugh. RIP dear friend with dear husband Buddy. My sympathy to all.
