Bryan Downs - Guestbook

Bryan was such a great person. I’ve known him since the early 80s and can’t remember one time he lost his temper or said anything mean. I’m so glad to have been able to talk with him weekly on Thursdays along with his equally great brother on our game nights. We will all miss him a lot!!

My wife and I would like to give our condolences to Bryan’s family. I have known Bryan for over 12 years. During this time we got know each other very well by chatting nearly every week on Xbox live. The chat sessions usually included Bryan, his brother John (aka Mark to family) and his longtime friends Bill, Dave and Eric. Nearly every Thursday we would all get together and play Xbox live games. We felt like a bunch of 40-50 plus year old teenagers talking mainly about family and life in general then some game play afterwards, but mainly chatting as friends and family. I just wanted to thank and honor Bryan for his friendship for all those years. I know that we will all miss him dearly, but NEVER forget him. I hope we continue to have our Xbox game and chat sessions way into the future and honor him every time we get together. Until we meet again in Heaven my friend, Rest In Peace.

My deepest sympathies for your loss. Though I only got to work with Bryan a couple of years, I found him to be an honest, thoughtful man and a very supportive team player. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Sincerely,
Curt Burkhart

Bonnie and I send prayers for strength and comfort to Bryan's family. He really was a great calming presence for those he worked with in his years leading the Information Services department at Central Peninsula Hospital, and he is fondly remembered by his friends at CPH.

I wish to extend my heartfelt sympathy to the Downs family. I pray that God gives you strength during this difficult time. I wish you peace that brings comfort, courage to face the days ahead, and loving memories to forever warm your hearts.

I had the privilege of working under Bryan's leadership for the past few years. He will be missed as he was a great director.
