A very nice lady we learned to know while my dad was in PT at BN&R. Carol was always ready with a bright smile and a hug. Never a bad word to anyone. She was always positive and encouraging. She loved to sing and would do so often as we sat on the front porch and visited. My dad would start a song and Carol was the first to join in. She was a true Aggie and always up on game day. Her faith was important to her. She made an impact on our family and will be missed! We are so very sorry for your loss.

I am sorry about your mom. Your mom was a good employee at American Underwriters working for Howard. One year I took Amy and Nathan to the Maifest parade and the Maifest grounds. We enjoyed the time together. Your mom was a kind Christian lady. Our sympathy to you and your family.

Your mother, grandmother, great grandmother or sister was a treasured friend ever since we sang in the choir together at St Mary's! In later years I've had the opportunity to visit and share meals with her in her home. She was always such a gracious hostess and I loved spending time with her! It was always so hard to leave! I lost touch with her when she moved and after a long time was told where she was, but I never could get in touch with her. My prayers are with all of you!

Mrs.Carol was the sweetest lady I ever got the privilege to meet. She was our neighbor on Cornish Drive and just a few days after we moved in she came knocking on our door with some oatmeal raisin cookies welcoming us to the neighborhood. Anytime she saw us outside she would walk over and we would spend a good 20 minutes talking. She was always so positive and had such wonderful stories to tell. When she came to Chris' graduation party from A&M she was the life of the party, everyone enjoyed talking with her and hearing her stories. I am truly so sad to hear she has passed, I know she is rejoicing in the Kingdom of Heaven at peace with her loving Husband. The Zwahr family is in our prayers as you enter this new season of life without this wonderful child of God.

I'm really lost for word's but very happy at the same time, because I've gotten to know a very loving, sweet & caring lady. Lol being her student was never easy but it was also fun and as I got older I had understood the thing's she told me as being my teacher and friend. She'll be missed by me dearly and I know that god makes no mistakes and she has her wing's now so fly on my angle and I'll always love you....To the family I pray that keep you're head up because that's something that we all know she would want

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy...I loved Carol. She has to be one of the sweetest, kindest Christian ladies that I know. Happy. Smiling. Giver of lots of hugs.
What precious memories I have. We have sat and visited for hours through the years...BISD meetings, HEB, church and most recent at BNRC where she was my dad's table meal mate.
Praying our Heavenly Father will wrap HIS arms of comfort around each of you as we surround you with our prayers.

Rest in peace, sweet friend.
Love,

Living in the same neighborhood as Carol - first on Hampshire Drive and later down the street on Cornish - I have long admired her strength and faith. Now she is no longer suffering, and is at peace. May God wrap His loving arms around you - her family which she so dearly loved - and give you peace.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Carol, but find comfort in knowing she is reunited with Larry. Carol taught across the hall from me at Brenham Intermediate when I first started teaching in Brenham. One of my first memories of Carol was when I told her I lost my school keys! She stopped everything and prayed to St. Anthony for me. Keys were found that evening!
Rest in Peace, Carol Zwahr.

There are times when we look back and wonder what purpose each person has had in our vast universe. With Carol, that was so easy to determine. She taught us love, patience and the courage of a lion! She stood up to more adversity than most and did so with a smile and God in her heart!
I first met Carol when we were in the Blinn chorus and then shared many visits with her over the years. I will hold each meeting in my heart and treasure that bright, sunny and courageous disposition.
Rest In Peace, dear friend. Your job on earth is done!

I had the privilege to work at Brenham Nursing and Rehab and Carol was my greatest supporter. She encouraged me daily. I truly loved her and thought of her as family.
She loved to dance and she and I would waltz together on many occasions. It brings me great comfort to know that she is now waltzing with her beloved husband on the streets of glory.
Go rest high on that mountain sweet Carol.

Amy and Family,
Your mom was such a lovely person. She was SO very proud of you - her face always lit up when I mentioned you were a friend.

She loved music and would select a front row seat whenever Brazos Bells Handbell Ensemble performed at the nursing home. After each song, she would clap excitedly and murmur "that was great". When we finished, she would make her way up to the table to thank us for our "beautiful music".

May your memories of this special loved one bring assurance and peace to soften the pain of your loss. God blessings be upon you.
