Obituary

Charlotte Ann Duebbe, age 69, entered the kingdom of heaven on June 27, 2026.

Charlotte Ann, lovingly known as “Charlie,” was born on July 20, 1956, in Macomb Township, Michigan, to Howard and Jeannine (Tischman) Cochrane. She graduated from Lakeview High School in Chicago, Illinois, and went on to attend Westing House, where she served as a candy striper and later worked as a Nurse’s Aide.

In 1979, Charlotte made Texas her home, building a life filled with many blessings. She spent time working for the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center before joining Houston Helicopter in Pearland. However, her heart always remained in healthcare, and she ultimately retired from the medical field, where she found her true calling.

On June 18, 1984, Charlotte married Theodore “Ted” Duebbe in Austin County, and together they were blessed with three wonderful children. She was a woman of strong Christian faith and a devoted member of Morning Star Cowboy Church in Kenney.

Charlotte took great joy in homemaking. She loved preparing hearty soups and stews, and baking fresh breads and cinnamon rolls that filled her home with warmth. In quieter moments, she enjoyed reading mystery novels or relaxing with a good movie. Above all, she treasured the time she spent with her children and grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life.

She is preceded in death by parents, husband Ted, and two brothers Howard Cochrane and Eddie Babize.

Left to cherish her memories are children Jason and Brenda Duebbe, Jeffery Duebbe and Jennifer Paniagua, Janet Duebbe; grandchildren Daren Duebbe and Maggie Mae Duebbe Elrod; siblings; along with numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend Jennifer Ruby.

A celebration of life honoring Charlotte will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at the Morning Star Cowboy Church,1566 TX-497 Loop, Bellville, Texas 77418.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Morning Star Cowboy Church in Kenney, Texas.
