Cheri was one of a kind. Through thick and thin, she was fiercely loyal and protective of the ones she loved. She was big sister, mother-figure, confidante, all rolled into this one joyful person. I remember her helping me with maps of the East Texas fields when I was reworking lease maps at Exxon. After work, we had such a blast at the Happy Hours, dancing and the free food! And I'll never forget the trip I made to Alaska to see her and Don. We got a bit too close to the moose at the airfield and Don got after us to get back. Fishing at 10pm for salmon, and it was still light outside. And halibut fishing. I was terrible at it. I will miss her dearly.

I will miss you my dear friend. I love you ??

I wish I could have met Cheri. She fought with determination through this, like she did with her jobs. My heart is saddened that she has left this world and the pain and emptiness you must be feeling with her loss.
