Christopher Wesolick

Christopher "Crip" Wesolick was born October 23, 1969 in Brenham, TX to parents Mary Lou (Grace) and Floyd Wesolick.

On February 23, 1991, he married Shannon Surrett. They made their home in Brenham. Chris worked in carpet and tile installation for 25 years.

Chris enjoyed the outdoors with his family. Fishing trips at Lake Sommerville and hunting in Frelsburg with family hold cherished memories. Camping in their trailer at the deer pasture and sharing stories around the campfire were special times.

Chris was an avid gun collector and enjoyed watching hunting shows on TV. In the early morning, he would drink coffee on the back porch and watch the beautiful sunrise.

Christopher Wesolick passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at the age of 54.

He was preceded in death by his parents, mother-in-law Clara Surrett and brothers Mark Wesolick and Timothy Wesolick.

Surviving family includes: wife Shannon Wesolick, son Tyler Wesolick, brother Greg Wesolick,
father-in-law Marvin Surrett and special family friend Cindy Meschwitz, sister-in-law Brenda Surrett, niece Mally Beaudet, and nephews Cody Wesolick and Josh Wesolick.

Visitation will be Friday, April 5th from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. with family present from 5-7 p.m. at Brenham Memorial Chapel.

There will be private services at Prairie Lea Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Washington County EMS.
