Clarence Bothe

Clarence Bothe, 83, of Brenham died August 12, 2006 in Brenham Rest Home.

Clarence was born to August and Margarethe Meyer Bothe on July 5, 1923 in the Meyersville Community of Washington County. On May 11, 1924 he was baptized in Immanuel Lutheran Church of Wiedeville and confirmed April 24, 1938 in the same church by Rev. Kurt Hartmann. He attended Washington County School at Wiedeville.

Clarence was self-employed and a lifetime farmer.

Survivors include a brother Eugene Bothe of Brenham, sister Irene Helmer of Bryan, numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Ervin, Melvin and Lonnie Bothe and sister Delores Zuehlke.

Visitation with the family will be Monday, August 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at 3 P.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Wiedeville with Pastor Jim Abbott officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Leroy Henze, Arnold Dreyer Jr., Wilburn Addicks, Wade Wellmann, Don Goodwin and John Burleson III. Honorary pallbearer will be Cliff Henze.
