Clement (Clem) Krolczyk

Clement “Clem” Krolczyk, 79 of Chappell Hill, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2008 at his home surrounded by family.

Clem was born July 22, 1929 in Chappell Hill to Michael and Agnes (Strenk) Krolczyk. He was baptized July 24, 1929 and confirmed in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, where he remained a life-long member. He attended Chappell Hill schools. On November 26, 1955 he was married to Germania “Janie” Flisowski in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church by Rev. John Wesolek. Clem was a rancher and also had worked at the cotton gin in Chappell Hill. He enjoyed playing Pitch, fishing and took pride in working his crossbred cattle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, one brother, three brothers-in-law and one nephew.

Survivors include: his wife of 52 years, Janie Krolczyk; children, Ernest Krolczyk of Chappell Hill, Betty Krolczyk of Chappell Hill, Johnnie Ray Krolczyk, Sr. and wife Linda of Brenham, Lillian Jankowiak and husband Ronnie of Chappell Hill, Sally Grohmann and husband Kenneth of Cypress, and Lucy Lorenz and husband Billy of Washington; grandchildren, Crystal Duran and husband Luis, Christopher Faterkowski, Johnnie Ray “Bubba” Krolczyk, Jr., Bridgette Snow and fiancé Kevin Schulz, Ronald Paul Jankowiak, Amber Jankowiak, Hunter Krolczyk, Madalyn Krueger, Rena Frank, Corey Lorenz, Kayla Grohmann; five step great-grandchildren; sisters, Hattie Boratynski of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Pauline Thomas and husband Lee of Spring, Nancy Kalstad of Austin; brothers, Paul Krolczyk and Edmond Krolczyk both of Chappell Hill.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at Brenham Memorial Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, October 23, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Chappell Hill with Rev. Vincent Chacko as celebrant.
Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Robert Stark, Delbert “Bubba” Stark, Jr., Christopher Faterkowski, Johnnie Ray “Bubba” Krolczyk, Jr., Ronald Paul Jankowiak, Hunter Krolczyk, Kenneth Grohmann and Stan Petty. Honorary pallbearers are Julian Bednarek, Johnnie V. Flisowski and Billy Lorenz.

Memorials are suggested to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
