C.M. "Buddy" D'Olive, Jr.

Chester Maurice “Buddy” D’Olive, Jr., age 72 of Brenham, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2013.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, August 30th and funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 31st with Rev. Kay Reed officiating, both at Brenham Memorial Chapel. Graveside service will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery under the auspices of the Masonic Graham Lodge.

Buddy was born March 6, 1941 in Huntsville, Texas to Chester Maurice D’Olive, Sr. and Ruby Mize D’Olive. He graduated from Brenham High School. Buddy was in the coin machine amusement business. He was a Mason, having membership in Graham Lodge #20 A.F. & A.M.

His loving family includes: the mother of his children, Karen D’Olive; his children, Rece, Melissa and Danny D’Olive; sisters, Marcena O’Malley, Mary Frances Koenning and Pam Schubert (husband Charles); uncles, J. M. D'Olive, Jack D'Olive and Don D’Olive; nieces and nephews, Richard, Kevin, Stephen and Tim O’Malley, Cheri Addicks, Reeves Ham, Michael Ham, Paige Hankins, Brad and Kevin Schubert, Jennifer Mertz.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law Dick O’Malley and great nephew Charles Trip Schubert.

Memorials may be given to the Mason Lodge, 908 Highway 290 West, Brenham, TX 77833.
