Obituary

Daniel “Pete” Dierking, 67 of Bleiblerville, husband of Marilyn Dierking, passed away at his residence on April 11, 2009.

Daniel was born August 5, 1941 to Marvin And Ester Wensel Dierking in New Ulm. He was a member of Bellville High School graduating class of 1959. Daniel was baptized and confirmed at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Welcome. On September 23, 1963 he was married to Marilyn Price in Salem Lutheran Church of Salem by the Reverend O.K. Oelke. Mr. Dierking was a member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Welcome. Daniel was a rancher; and also employed by Cattlemen’s Brenham Livestock and Port City Stockyards of Sealy. He enjoyed being with his grandchildren, the kids of the Washington County Fair, and he enjoyed riding his ranger, feeding the deer and checking on his cows.

His parents, sisters Margaret Richter and Faye Roeske, in-laws Roy and Edna Price preceded him in death.

Loving family members include his wife of 45 years Marilyn Dierking, sons and daughter in-law Todd and wife Janie Dierking, Trent Dierking; daughter Tawn Dierking, grandchildren Ty and Talyn Dierking; sisters and brother-in-law Erline and husband Tom Ferguson, Dororthy Dierking; brother-in-laws and sister-in-law Fred and wife Sylvia Price, Tommy Richter, Rodney Roeske.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm., Monday, April 13, 2009 in Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 in Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Welcome with Rev. David Klak officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers are Scottie Schwartz, Mark Schwartz, Pedro Gonzalez, Michael Kmiec, J. D. Sartwelle, Jr., Daniel Borchardt, Oscar Slovacek, Larry Schatte, W. C. (Bill) Sartwelle, and Dewayne Lange.

Honorary Pallbearers are Jason and John Lange, Benton and Chase Schulze, Tanner, Clayton and Carter Schwartz, Gentrie and Tegan Peschel, Brad Klausmeyer, Nieces and Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews, God Children, Employees of Cattleman’s Brenham Livestock and Port City Stockyards of Sealy.

Memorials may be given to Bleiblerville Fire Department or Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Welcome Building Fund.
