Daniel (Polly) Mueller

Daniel Max “Polly” Mueller, 72, passed away Monday, July 4, 2005 in Smithville, Texas.

He was born January 14, 1933 in the Latium Community to Kenney George and Emily (Ackermann) Mueller. He was baptized in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Latium by Rev. C. J. Kunc. Polly was a self-employed farmer.

He is preceded in death by his parents and nephew Dennis Mueller.

His survivors include brothers and sisters-in-law Kenney and Lynette Mueller of Latium and Leo and Valeria Mueller of Latium; nephews Darrell Mueller, Donald Mueller, Douglas Mueller; nieces Patricia Martin, Sharon Simpson and Laura Russell; special family Otto and Ora Dean Duesterhoft and family.

The Mueller family will receive guests from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 6, 2005 in Brenham Memorial Chapel followed by the Rosary at 7:30 p.m. recited by Father David Ivey.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 7, 2005 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Latium. Msgr. Ben Mazurkiewicz and Father Ed Kucera will be con-celebrants. Burial will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Brenham, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Darrell Mueller, Donald Mueller, Douglas Mueller, Allan Duesterhoft, Douglas Duesterhoft and Otto Duesterhoft III. Honorary pallbearers will be roommates and staff at Group Home in Smithville.
