David Kip Jackson

David Kip Jackson, age 64, and the husband of Barbara Jeanette (Pugh) Jackson passed away on Saturday, December 23,2017 after a brief battle with cancer.

David was born in Dallas on June 18, 1953, the son of Henry S. Jackson, Jr. and Rena Mae Jackson, but was raised in Irving. He was a member of the band at Irving High School and attended U.T.-Arlington. He worked for his father in the sand and gravel business until Henry retired and David bought the business from his father.

He was active in the Lewisville Soccer Assoc. as a coach, board member and referee.

He was preceded in death by his father Henry S. Jackson, Jr.; mother Rena Mae Jackson; father-in-law Robert Pugh; mother-in-law Betty Pugh and three brothers-in-law.

Survivors include: wife Barbara Jackson, daughter and son-in-law Erica and Kaleb Kothe; daughter Shannon Jackson; grandson Kye Kothe; sister Donna Jackson-Graeber and two nieces.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 20,2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Brenham Memorial Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or Texas Baptist Men.
