I have known Dixie since she and I were in high school! She dated and married my brother Tom, and we have always had a dear sweet tender relationship, and I have always considered her my sister! I will always cherish those wonderful memories! Her birthday was one day earlier than mine, and we always loved to laugh about being the same age for that one day a year!

I love you!

Being DOUBLE cousins I always thought there was something really special in our family relationship. Because brothers married sisters, we were so close in our DNA that I thought of her as my older sister. Not ever having a sister this was really special. Our two families were really close and we shared many good memories. She lived in the house we moved from and I wore her wedding dress. There was always a connection even tho we were miles and years apart. Even tho she was 8 years older, she was my childhood idol. I always wanted to be like her. She and Tom took me with them to Houston to visit another cousin my age. The 10 hour ride there was a time I will always remember. They were really patient with a chattering little girl. Needless to say I will miss her sweet smile and warm loving heart. She and my mother were close too as I was to her mother. We shared our mothers and our lives. Looking forward to our big family reunion in heaven. Dixie I love you
