Don Heim

Don Heim, age 77 of Navasota, passed away at his home Sunday, July 29, 2007.

He was born June 21, 1930 to Henry Nicholas and Dora Alma (Ristau) Heim in Warren, Pennsylvania. He served his country in the United States Air Force. For 27 years, he worked as a field engineer being a computer technician most of those years employed by Sperry Univac. On August 9, 1981, he married Bessie Baugh in Tomball. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Bible research was his hobby. Don was a wonderful husband and father and a Christian man who lived his faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

His loving family includes: wife Bessie Heim of Navasota; sons, Edward Heim of San Antonio, Steve Heim of Kingwood, John Heim of Austin; step-sons, Bill Young of Tulsa Oklahoma, Dale Young and his wife Serena of Houston, Glen Young of Springdale, Arizona; daughters, Cathi MacMannis and husband John of Ohio; step-daughters, Debra Coleman and husband Weldon of Jacinto City, Vivian Sloan of Houston, Meshell Sword and husband Earl of Iola; 23 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be announced later.
