Suzanne,
I heard this morning about Don, and was immediately overcome with immense sadness. In all the years I worked with him, there was always joy, inspiration, and a never ending desire to experince everything that life could offer. He was one of the hardest workers and the most motivated individuals that I have ever known, but would never hesitate to take on more work if you needed help. I am so sorry for your loss, and extend my proyers and thoughts to you and your family in this time of sorrow.
God Bless and take care.

After one retires, the only thing we have left of our friends and co-workers is our memories of them. Don will always be in my memories. He was a good man and it was a pleasure to know and work with him. My Dad, before he passed also from cancer, said, “A man comes into this world with one thing, his name and he leaves with two things, his name and his reputation. Everything else he leaves behind.” In the years that I knew him, Don did nothing to tarnish either one. May God bless and convert you and your family through this life.

I am very sorry to hear of Don's death. His family will be in our thoughts and prayers. I was in the same organization as Don while working for FORD/Loral/Lockheed on contract with the Johnson Space Center. Don was one who could always be called a "nice guy". I will remember him as the person who supplied some of his longhorn cattle to the Johnson Space Center back in the 1990's. This was a token that added to the reminder of the history of the land that was used for the construction of the JSC.

Suzanne and Lauren, I learned of your loss this morning. As one of "Donnie's" former classmates and friends, I am so saddened. I hadn't seen him since the 1992 Sterling reunion but I remember how happy and proud he was then to be husband and father to the two of you. I know his joy and pride grew immensely in the years since. I hope knowing you're being held in the hearts of many and lifted up by their prayers, will bring you some comfort.
