To Jimmy and the Pace family,
Your mother was such a sweetheart and I will always cherish the memories of our family friendship. We are thinking of you and lifting prayers up for your family. May all the beautiful memories of her life and God's grace carry you through this difficult time. Blessings Always.

Dear Gaylene, Jim and family,
Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. I was fortunate enough to teach at Alton elementary with Doris. She was definitely one of the bright spots at school. Mrs. Pace always welcomed us with a smile on her face. We all know that she was beautiful, elegant and adored by many. I loved how she could laugh at her own mishaps. We all know that she was always dressed to a T. Always put together. Nothing out of place. EXCEPT one time she came to school wearing two different colored shoes. We probably wouldn’t have noticed since she sat behind a desk —-but she had to show each of us. She didn’t mind laughing with us. Because of her, I found daycare for my children with Linda Keeton. Doris described her good friend “ as being so sweet—-sugar from the top of head to the tip of her toes.” Thank you, Doris. You were an angel on earth.
I love you.

My condolences to the Pace family. Doris used to babysit me when I was a little girl and I absolutely adored her. She was such a sweet lady.
